What is a service like? The services follow a liturgical format, and include Scripture readings, confession and absolution, hymns and other musical selections, prayers, a sermon, and opportunities for fellowship. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month.
What is the music like? The music presents a blended selection of both traditional and contemporary hymns. We have both organ and piano accompaniment, as well as flutes and other instrumentalists. There are two choirs, one focusing primarily on the more traditional music and the other on contemporary songs (often accompanied by the praise band).
How do people dress? Clothing varies from dresses and suits to whatever is comfortable, including jeans and t-shirts.
Can I take communion? We believe in the real presence of Christ's body and blood in, with, and under the bread and wine. We believe in the Triune God and that we are saved by grace through faith in the the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins. Those who commune are aware of their sinfulness and need for forgiveness and that this is found only in Him.
Where do I park? Ample parking, including handicapped accessible, is available in the lot on the east side of the church building.
